Devon and Cornwall Sound Therapy

Meet Karen & Anthony

Devon & Cornwall Sound Therapy was created through a shared passion for helping people slow down, rest and reconnect through sound. Together we offer gentle sound experiences designed to support relaxation, emotional wellbeing and nervous system balance.

Anthony’s Story

Anthony spent many years in demanding practical and leadership roles and after an unfortunate incident, lost two years of his life. It was whilst undergoing a course of rehabilitation that he was introduced to sound. Very quickly the power of sound reset his mind, helped him relax and sleep, which in turn helped reduce fatigue.

Drawn to the way sound helped quiet his mind and create deep relaxation, he decided to embark on becoming a gong practitioner, to work alongside Karen, who is a holistic healer. His warm grounded approach helps people feel safe, welcome and at ease, especially those completely new to sound therapy.

Karen’s Story

Karen is a registered nurse with many years of experience supporting people through care, compassion and emotional understanding. Alongside her nursing background, she has developed a deep interest in holistic wellbeing including Reiki, sound therapy, Shamanic healing and energy-based healing practices.

Her calming presence and intuitive apprach help create nurturing sessions that encourage deep rest, emotional balance and gentle self-care.

The Shared Approach

Together, Karen & Anthony combine traditional sound instruments, including crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls and gongs with a calm, welcoming approach that allows people to fully relax without pressure or expectation.

Whether attending a group sound bath, or a one-to-one session, every experience is designed to feel supportive, accessible and deeply restorative.
