Health & Safety Information – Please Read Before Attending

Our sound baths are designed to be a gentle, restorative experience. However, sound therapy can affect individuals differently, particularly those with certain medical conditions. Please read the following information carefully before booking.

Sound Baths & Medical Considerations

Sound baths use instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, and other therapeutic sounds which may produce vibrations and sustained tones. These can be deeply relaxing but may not be suitable for everyone.

You should not attend, or should seek advice from your GP, consultant, or midwife before attending, if you have or are affected by any of the following:

• Epilepsy or a history of seizures

• A heart condition or a pacemaker

• Severe mental health conditions (including psychosis or severe PTSD)

• Recent surgery or significant physical injury

• Pregnancy (particularly first trimester, unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional)

• Sound sensitivity, tinnitus, or severe hearing issues

• Any condition where deep relaxation or sensory stimulation may be contraindicated

If you are unsure whether a sound bath is appropriate for you, we strongly recommend seeking medical advice before attending.

During the Session

• You are free to sit up, move, or leave the room at any time if you feel uncomfortable

• Please inform the facilitators before the session if you have any concerns or conditions you would like us to be aware of

• Participation is entirely voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion

Declaration on the Day

All attendees will be asked to complete a short health declaration on the day of the session to confirm they are fit to take part and to make us aware of any relevant medical conditions.

By attending a sound bath, you confirm that you have read and understood this information and that you take responsibility for your own wellbeing during the session.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your circumstances privately before booking, please feel free to contact us.
